Ibrahim Abouzeid is an Awareness officer Volunteer who began his volunteering journey with The Economic Society nearly three years ago. During his time as a volunteer, Ibrahim has seen many organisational changes. For instance, when he commenced as a volunteer, the organisation was known as Egypt Scholars Economic Society. Since that time, Ibrahim has worked in many projects and been overseen by different Coordinators of Volunteers.
Ibrahim, who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, explained that he started volunteering with TES because “I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone, while also learning new skills. It’s such a great way to give back to the community and make a positive impact in other people’s lives. It makes me feel a sense of accomplishment.”
